I’m Olumoroti Olivia Ogunsiji 👋🏽
I started writing stories because my head is always full of ideas.
Sometimes they pop up in the middle of homework. Sometimes when I’m brushing my teeth. Sometimes right before bedtime.
I love creating characters who are brave, kind, curious, and not afraid to try something new, just like the kids I hope will read my books.
When I’m not writing, I enjoy sketching, drawing, reading, listening to music, learning new things and imagining what the future could look like.
My first book is called Beyond the Ordinary Days and it’s full of magical moments, strange surprises, thoughtful adventures and children who discover that they are stronger than they think.

Olumoroti Ogunsiji is a Nigerian child author, storyteller and artist whose work explores imagination, courage, curiosity, and African childhood experiences.
Her debut anthology, Beyond the Ordinary Days, combines whimsical storytelling with reflective activities for young readers, parents,
and educators.
Olumoroti writes under the guidance of her parents and publishing team, with a focus on literacy development, creativity and positive representation.
She hopes her stories will encourage children everywhere to dream boldly and believe in their own voices.
